Large format. Green pictorial covers. 4 colour plates. Front cover shows characters - two of them playing musical instruments. First story is 'Mr. Noah's Guardian Angel'. Spine is worn and chipped with loss from top and bottom. Bumping to corners. Wear to corners and cover edges. Covers a little grubby and scuffed. Both joints and a couple of hinges cracked. Remains of label and ink inscription to front pastedown. Mark to verso of frontis. Contents are browned with a little foxing and just a few marks.

Large format. Blue cloth spine. Pictorial front cover shows a snow scene with a tortoise being surprised by a snow ball. Colour frontis + 4 other colour plates. Two-tone and b/w strip pictures. First story is 'The Shipwrecked Mariner'. Spine bumped, faded and stained. Corners and cover edges worn. Covers grubby and marked. Front joint almost broken, only holding by a couple of threads. Most hinges also badly cracked, rear joint ok. All plates present but 2 detached. All pages present. Some foxing, browning and marks to contents. A reading copy.

Ladybird series 401. Buff boards with colour vignette and titles. Story told in verse, colour illustrations throughout. Spine and corners bumped, small nick to top of spine. Covers grubby. "Easy 3" written in blue biro to front pastedown. Old tape mark to front endpaper. Some light fingering but contents generally clean. Price-cut wrapper is edge worn and grubby, small burn mark to lower edge of front panel and large tear to rear fold. Spine of wrapper is sunned.

Spine reglued into place, some damage at top and bottom. Wear to corners. Some browning to cover edges and a few marks to covers and onlay. Front joint cracked with glue seeped through from spine repair showing along joint. Tiny tear to top edge of front endpaper. Half-title page browned. Some marks to contnets but many pages are clean. Last plate has marks to margin and a little wax(?) to picture. Brown spot on lower edge affects last couple of pages and endpapers.
