There was no school on Breezy Hill for the children, so Dame Slap, a dear kindly old rabbit opened one. Pictorial pink boards, dark blue titles. Two b/w illustrations per page with sentence of text below. 89 numbered pages. 7.75 x 5.5". Backstrip missing. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Bumping to top edge of front board. Board edges rubbed. Covers are grubby, Browning to endpapers and some pages. Rear joint beginning to crack. Some fingering to contents.

A little light foxing to page edges otherwise contents are clean. Pictorial wrapper is edge worn with tears some of which have been mended on verso with tape. Spine is browned. Wrapper is a little grubby. Book has a light musty smell.
