Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
Green cloth, black titles. Colour frontis. B/w illustrations. 10" x 7.5". 120 pages. Spine and corners slightly bumped. Slight fading at cover edges. Inscription in ink to front pastedown has been partially erased. Foxing to contents. Endpapers are partly browned. Dustwrapper is slightly edge worn with neat repairs on verso and has a tiny patch of surface paper damage to front panel.

Spine bumped, worn, faded and foxed with a couple of small splits. A little wear to corners and cover edges. Front cover lightly scuffed with scribble to title. One hinge cracked. Contents edge browned and foxed.

Large tear through text to page 133/4. Contents have some foxing but are generally clean otherwise.

First story is "The Little Roundy Man Finds A Chimney". Spine a little worn and darkened. Wear and bumping to corners and cover edges. Covers slightly grubby with scuffing and small amount of scribble to rear cover. New endpapers. Belongs to box completed in pencil. Fingering to lower margins, mostly in first half of book. One colour plate partially detached with tear to inner margin.

Pictorial covers show continuous scene of pixies racing on tortoises. Red title page. Colour plates and b/w illustrations. Stories and rhymes. First story: Two Little Stars. Bumping and wear to spine and corners, slight loss of surface at ends of spine. Erased writing on front pastedown. Contents lightly browned but clean. Foxing to text block. Dustwrapper is edge worn, torn and creased with a few small pieces of loss. Small hole to rear fold. Brown tape stuck to worst tear on verso.

Inscription in ink to top edge of front endpaper. Browning to endpapers and page edges. One hinge cracked. Light creasing to top inside corner of all pages. Just an odd mark to contents.
