Large format. Green cloth covers. Gilt decorative and text. A fascinating insight into the English monastic life exquisitely illustrated in colour. Top edge gilt. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Fading to spine, with a couple of chips to cloth at top. Inscription in ink to front pastedown. Some foxing. A few page edges have tears, with a bit of loss, where at one time pages were uncut and they have not been cut neatly.
