Edited and with a preface by Dame Felicitas Corrigan. Light brown cloth boards with lilac and gold pattern to top. Gilt title to spine. B/w wood engravings. Base of spine and lower front corner is slightly bumped. A few tiny spots to text block. Contents fine. Lilac slipcase is slightly faded at edges and a little worn at corners.
Cream cloth with elaborate gilt picture of London to front cover. Gilt titles and illustrations to spine. Top edge gilt. The words of numerous songs featuring London. Covers are heavily browned and foxed. Bumping, with chipping and some loss to top of spine. Front joint is cracked. Page edge browning; some foxing and margin marks, but contents are generally still very good.
Leather spine with gilt titles. The Best Songs and Lyrical Poems in English Language chosen and introduced by James Michie. Illustrated with Wood Engravings by various artists selected by Simon Brett. Minor yellow marks to base of text block else a fine copy contained in publisher's slipcase which is lightly scuffed.

Orange cloth with black titles. 12 beautiful tipped-in and tissue-guarded colour plates. Darkening to top and tail of spine. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Browning to endpapers. Foxing to endpapers, outer page edges and some page margins. All plates present. Wrapper is price-cut with browning; edge-tears and chips; a bit of loss to top edge and some corners.
2nd edition. Red leather spine and corners; raised bands to spine and gilt decorations and gilt title to dark title block. Marbled boards and endpapers. Spine has faded. Foxing to endpapers and outer page edges; a few to some page margins internally.
