A jovial domestic portrayal of Goldsmith's classic. 12 colour plates plus b/w text illustrations. Dark green cloth, gilt titles and vignette. 232 pages. Pictorial endpapers. Top edge gilt. Spine and corners bumped else a bright copy. Light foxing to outer page edges and light browning to first few and last few pages. White pictorial wrapper is edge chipped, slightly grubby, price-cut and has a 2" closed tear to top edge of front panel.
