Green and blue pictorial cloth, gilt title blocks to front cover and spine. 6 full page b/w engravings plus chapter head and tailpieces. 191 pages. Spine and corners slightly bumped and rubbed. Front endpaper browned. Small price label 'awarded in connection with Chums Empire Map Scheme' on front pastedown. Small foxspots to endpapers and half-title page otherwise the contents are beautifully clean and bright with all plates present. A super copy of this title, exceptionally rare in first edition.

Contents fine. Yellow pictorial wrapper is grubby and has a closed edge-tear to rear panel.
