Her adventures in peace and war form the stories, some tragic and some humorous, but always full of the spirit of that waterway which is half river and half sea. Browning to endpapers. Some foxing to outer page edges. Wrapper is edge=creased and browned, with a few tiny nicks to corners.

Price-cut dustwrapper is edge worn, spine is faded. Pale blue stains to bottom of rear panel, small mark to front panel and tiny amount of surface paper damage. Revised price label to front flap.
