A detailed 'how-to-do-it' book. Red boards, gilt title to spine. Fold-out map tipped in to front. B/w maps and photos. 200 pages. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. A little fading to spine. Page browning and a few foxspots to pages. Wrapper is grubby with some edge-creasing and browning.

Peck's ingenuity is taxed to originate new pranks for Cynthia, but honors are about even. Very large, oblong format (16.5 x 11"). Cardwraps with colour illustration to front. Printed on one side of the page only, short stories told in comic format. Binding repaired with new red spine covering. Front cover quite badly creased and edge worn. Wear to page edges of first few pages. Lower corner tips (at inner margins) torn off before restoration, no text/pictures affected. Some foxing and pale page browning else contents clean.

Joints cracked but binding still tight. Name in ink to top margin of title-page. Preliminary pages are grubby, there is some foxing to the contents. Considering the age of the book the contents are reasonably clean. This is a decent copy of a very scarce item.
