Limited Edition of 150. The Temple Library series. Vellum(?) spines, orange/brown title to spine, green cloth boards. Deckle-edged. Numbered copy 139. Both spines grubby, volume II spine is also worn with chips of missing vellum and title is faded. Endpapers and text block browned. Hinges pulled but binding tight.
Red cloth with gilt titles and vignettes to spine and front cover. B/w illustrations. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Fading to spine. A little chipping/fraying to cloth at corners of top of spine. Marks to covers. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing throughout. Page edges are uncut, with margin tears to some. Front joint is cracked.
Harmonized by Clarence Forsythe. Large oblong format (10.25 x 12"). Brown cloth with illustration to front cover. Floral decorated endpapers. 46 pages. Colour and b/w illustrations throughout. Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Inscription in ink to front endpaper which is also very slightly edge chipped. Page browning to half-title. Foxing to textblock. Some light fingering else contents clean.
Olive green cloth, gilt titles and vignettes to front cover and spine. Large format. Dark green pictorial endpapers. Top edge gilt, others uncut. 24 mounted colour plates with captioned tissue guards, 12 full-page tinted illustrations plus numerous b/w drawings. Spine and corners slightly bumped with minimal rubbing. Small indentations to cover edges. All plates present, a couple have light corner creases all others are fine. Foxing to contents and some light fingering to page margins.
Green pictorial cloth. Collected by W. Crooke and retold by Rouse. Indian folk-tales. Spine and corners bumped and slightly rubbed. Covers grubby and marked, red ink marks to front cover. Child's red ink writing to front endpaper. Endpapers browned, foxing to page edges. Front joint cracked. Lower corner of rear free-endpaper torn off (only a small piece).
Leather binding with a few gilt floral motifs at cover corners and to spine, raised bands to spine and red title block with gilt title. Marble effect endpapers and textblock. 12 colour plates plus b/w text illustrations. 638 pages. Covers are edge rubbed and worn, also scuffed. There is foxing especially to prelims and page edges. A name address in pencil to front fly-leaf and another along with inscription in pencil to half-title. Page 57/8 has a small tear at lower margin which has been tape repaired.
The Bairn Books. Pictorial cloth. Colour & b/w illustrations. 120 Pages. Covers scuffed and faded. Front joint broken with rest of binding weak. One page tipped back in with tape. Some colouring, and a little pencil writing to a couple of pages.

Binding by Zaehnsdorf. 24 colour plates with captioned guards (mounted on to stiff green paper). 12 full-page tinted illustrations plus numerous b/w drawings. 549 pages. Top edge gilt, others untrimmed. 3 of the plates have light corner creases, all others in fine condition. Some light foxing (mainly to prelims and outer page edges). A very handsome book.

Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn, cover edges lightly rubbed. Spine slightly darkened. Endpapers lightly browned. A couple of hinges pulled. Some foxing to contents but generally clean.
