Front joint and a couple of hinges starting to crack. Some foxing. A few grubby marks to contents page but rest of contents generally clean.

Translated and adapted by Constance Herd. Pale blue boards, gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations. A sensitive adaptation of a classic story. SIGNED by the translator to the front endpaper. Spine and corners are a little bumped. Small bump to top of front board. Contents are clean. Dust wrapper is a little edge worn. Spine is browned. A few marks to panels which are grubby.
