Board corners worn, Boards a little grubby. Belongs to box completed in pencil. Hinges pulled but binding tight. A few scattered foxspots. Some neat colouring e.g. b/w illustration opposite page 52.

Red pictorial cloth with gilt titles and flower vignette to spine and gilt titles and vignette of a girl skipping to front. 6 colour plates plus b/w illustrations. 1st item is a poem - Goodbye. One b/w plate by Wain entitled 'The Cats Party.' Spine bumped, worn and faded. Corners bumped and worn. Cover edges darkened and covers a little marked. Front and rear joints badly cracked showing webbing beneath. Some hinges cracked. One plate is loose and has ragged edges. Foxing and browning especially to prelims. A few light marks otherwise contents generally clean.

Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Light scuff/scratch marks to covers. Front free-endpaper detached. Some neat ink writing by previous owner to half-title. Light page browning, foxing and fingering but contents generally clean.
