A few grubby margin marks; some foxing. Wrapper is creased, with some edge-tears and chips; scuffing in places; only a little loss.

Foxing, mainly to prelims and text block. Grubby mark to text block. Dustwrapper is edge worn and chipped with a few small tears. Unevenly browned and foxed, very foxed on verso.

Spine is bumped at top and bottom with very small splits. Corners bumped and worn. Rear cover is stained with a few small marks. Ink inscription and small bookseller's sticker to front endpaper. Small patch of damage to top 1cm of rear joint. Couple of hinges cracked. Browned to endpapers. Heavy foxing, mostly to page edges. Odd margin mark. Contained in a photcopy dustwrapper.
