Blue boards, gilt title to spine. 304 pages. Spine slightly bumped. Light damp staining to lower edges of front cover and spine. Name in ink to front endpaper. Endpapers partly browned. Light foxing to outer page edges. Dustwrapper is just a little bit edge rubbed.

SIGNED by author with red ink dedication to front endpaper (although the author hasn't actually signed his name it is dedicated to M from J and we have another book which is dedicated with the same hand writing to Martha from James). Small number '7' written in blue ink to top corner of front endpaper. Dustwrapper has a tiny closed tear to top edge of front panel.
