Covers are edge worn with some slight loss of surface paper. Spine bumped. Covers slightly grubby. Endpapers have been replaced. Some grubby fingermarks to page margins/edges. Generally contents clean.

Mr Bumstead is a spaniel, with a gift for getting into scrapes. Red boards, blue title and black vignette to spine. B/w illustrations. Spine bumped. Small dark spots to top edge of front cover by corner and outside edge by lower corner. Some light browning to endpapers and prelims. Pen lines to lower corner of page 59, text not affected. Some light foxing to text block with small light stain to top edge. Dustwrapper is edge worn, torn and chipped with a little loss at top of spine. Tears to side of spine have been repaired on verso with clear tape. Spine is faded, rear panel is browned. Some grubby marks.

Light foxing to endpapers and page edges otherwise contents are in very good condition. Dust wrapper is a little edge worn with a couple of small tears. Rear panel and flap slightly grubby. A few brown marks to verso.
