Pale green boards with gilt title to spine. Pink endpapers. B/w wood engravings. 144 pages. ISBN: 0722655312. Boards clean. Light shelf-wear to base of spine. A few minor foxspots to top edge of text block. Small brown mark to half-title page and title page vertical edge. Else contents clean. Price-cut pictorial dustwrapper is lightly faded to spine, a little grubby/scuffed and has a few closed tears to top rear edge.

The story begins with an old lady watching the snow start to fall on Christmas Eve, and she remembers. She's the only one left who remembers. SIGNED by the author (no dedication) to title page. Boards clean and bright. Minor corner crease to a couple of pages else a lovely copy contained in publisher's red card slipcase with very light wear.

Tales from Watership Down is in three parts: the first consists of five traditional tales of El-ahrairah and two more modern rabbit stories, the second contains four episodes recounting events that befell El-ahrairah and Rabscuttle on their return from visiting the Black Rabbit of Inlé, and the third contains eight chapters dealing with the Watership warren in the months following the events of the original book. Black cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations. Green endpapers. 195 pages. ISBN: 0091801664. Hinge split between page 184 and 185 otherwise binding is tight and contents are clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is lightly edge-creased.
