Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
Yellow cloth, green titles and vignette. Blue and green pictorial endpapers. B/w illustrations. 153 pages. Spine and corners bumped, some slight fading to cover edges. Both pastedowns have faded (fading caused by glue in binding process?). Light foxing to endpapers and textblock. Small name and address in ink to verso of front free-endpaper. Dustwrapper is just a little edge worn and faded to spine, slight chipping with minimal loss. A super copy of a very scarce first edition.

Wrapper has bottom 2-3" of rear panel and base of spine torn off and MISSING; other corners of loss; front panel is mostly complete.

Colour plates and b/w text illustrations. 217 pages. Spine and cover edges are faded. Spine is also foxed. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. Wrapper is torn and chipped with some loss to top and tail of spine; rear panel is almost detached from spine; fading and browning; marks.
