Almost very good condition in a fair dustwrapper.
Beige cloth, purple title to spine and vignette to front cover. Colour frontis. B/w illustrations. 192 pages. Spine and corners a little bumped. Front joint beginning to crack. Pages are lightly browned. Light foxing mainly to page edges. Dustwrapper is in two halves with the split being at the rear of the spine. The front flap is partially detached and the rear flap has tears along the join. The rear panel is grubby and torn piece of white paper to verso to strengthen it. Loss to top of spine and and front panel.

Foxing throughout which is especially heavy to prelims and last few pages.

Light marks to rear board. Front joint and a few hinges are cracked. Name in ink to top of half title page. Foxing mostly to prelims and page edges. Top edge of text block is a bit grubby. Some fingering otherwise contents generally clean.

Lindsay's appointment as a prefect at River Place school astonishes the sixth form, because Lindsay is apparently as casual as she is popular. But the Head knows of what good stuff she is made. Green cloth with brown titles to spine and front. 304 pages, top edge green. 4 b/w plates. Spine bumped and faded, Wear to corners. Brown marks and foxing to spine and cover edges. Ink name and address to front pastedown, Book 14 written to front endpaper. Some light browning and foxing. Dustwrapper has numerous tears, some large, but not a great deal of loss. Creased, edge worn and grubby with foxing.

Contents are very good, just an odd mark. All plates present. Book has slight musty smell.
