Spine is faded, browned and has split to base; some chipping. Scuffing marks to covers. Bumping and wear to corners. Title page is MISSING! A few hinges are pulled. Browning to outer page edges and some page margins, which also have a few small tears. A reading copy.

Large format. Cloth spine. Front board shows 3 girls in a sail-boat. Colour frontis. B/w illustrations throughout. First story is "The Girls of Rocklands School" by Oxenham, also contains "A Treasure From The Snow" by same author. Spine bumped and slightly faded with a small rust stain to top front edge. Corners worn. Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper has been partially erased. Some hinges cracked causing contents to be a little loose. Light foxing throughout and a couple of fingermarks.

Hinge between colour plate & 117 and also 136 & colour plate is pulled (i.e. the section is starting to loosen but binding is still holding). A few minor margin marks. All colour plates present. A few closed margin tears. Overall a nice, bright copy.
