Dustwrapper is edge worn and chipped with a little loss to top edge. Spine is faded. Browning to rear flap. Foxing to spine and panels on verso.

Spine bumped, worn and browned with a 2.5" split to top front. Corners bumped and very worn. Damp marks to front cover and black mark and couple of scratches to rear board. Both joints badly cracked showing webbing beneath. Front endpaper creased vertically. inscription to title page. Some foxing. Tears to margin of one plate. Some hinges are cracked.
