A Hand-Guide for Anglers. Half green, half orange covers; gilt titles. Frontis is fold-out colour map of Ireland. B/w illustrations. Some damp staining to covers. Gilt titles still nice and bright. Front endpaper missing. Map present. One or two damp marks but contents generally clean.
Red pictorial cloth, gilt/black titles. A Story of The Days of Washington. B/w illustrations. Bumping and wear, with a little chipping to spine and corners. A few marks to covers. Bookplate to front pastedown. Joints are cracked. Foxing.
12 plates, 11 of which are hand-painted illustrations from the author's own drawings, with particulars of the dressings and season of each fly. Book also contains chapters on fishing the Minnow, The Creeper, The Stonefly, and The Worn in clear water, with an extra plate showing the hooks necessary therefore. Second edition. This book has been expertly rebacked with original spine laid down. Plates are all present - but plate 4 is missing its tissue-guard. Bumping and wear to spine and corners; a few scuff marks. Bookplate to front pastedown. Ink stamp to half-title page. A few light margin marks and browning; a little foxing.
Green cloth spine, pictorial boards. Green floral endpapers. Colour illustrations. Spine bumped, corners slightly worn. Some fading to cover edges. Inscription in ink to verso of front endpaper. Page browning, foxing and light fingering else contents clean.

Red covers with gilt and black title and decorations. 12 colour plates plus b/w illustrations. 832 pages. Spine and corners bumped and worn, small split to top of darkened spine. Covers grubby and marked. Both joints cracked, showing webbing beneath, and some hinges cracked. Prize plate and small bookseller's label to front endpaper. Some foxing, worst on verso of plates. Contents mostly clean.

Blue cloth with gilt & black title and decoration. 112 woodcut illustrations. xvi plus 378 pages and 2 page book list to rear. Edges worn, corners bumped. 1" split to side of spine which is browned. Name in ink to verso of front endpaper. One section detached but present pages 65 to 80.
