Large format. Rebound in dark yellow cloth with black titles and decorations. 8 delightful tissue-guarded and captioned mounted colour plates plus b/w illustrations. Light wear to cover edges. NEW endpapers. half-title page has magic tape along edges and some marks and foxing. Tissue-guard to frontis is almost detached and has creasing/tears. Top corners of pages are creased, from what appears to be a previous heavy bump to book. Foxing, browning and margin marks. In new slip case that is a little better than very good - light wear at edges.
