This facsimile edition printed in 2007 (originally published in 1931 by The Golden Cockerel Press), by Memminger MedienCentrum on Favini feltmarked laid paper and bound by G. Lachenmaier in full goatskin leather with Fabriano Tiziano endleaves. All edges gilt. This edition is Limited to 2750 numbered copies. Contained in solamander case, with gilt title to spine. This edition also includes a thin volume of Essays by Dreyfus & Gibbings. This is copy 1437 of 2750. A fine set contained in publisher's solander case which is lightly bumped at corners, lightly rubbed at lower edges and lightly scratched to rear - these faults are too minor to be seen on photos.
Edited and introduced by Gardner. Dark brown cloth, gilt titles and decorations. Still in original shrinkwrap! Shrinkwrap is a little scuffed and marked.

To which is prefixed a review of the History of Britain from the Roman period to the Saxon Heptarchy. Interspersed with notes biographical and explanatory. Large format. Two volumes, leather spine & corners, three raised bands to spine, gilt title to label to spine. Marbled paper boards. B/w plates. Volume II binding appears to be a more modern binding than volume I. Both volumes expertly repaired, volume I has contemporary notes bound in at front. Some paper repair also. Address stamp to volume I title page (small). Foxing and dampstaining affecting plates as well as text mainly to volume II. Marbled paper boards of volume I are scuffed. Bindings of both volumes are nice and tight.

A history of the firm of Thomas Mercer Ltd, which made chronometers, clocks, instruments and measuring equipment in London and St Albans from 1858 to 1984. Grey cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w photos. ISBN: 0954052536. A fine copy in price-cut dustwrapper which is possibly slightly faded to spine.
Text adapted for nursery readers by Lewis Carroll. Grey cloth spine, pictorial front board. Containing 20 enlarged and coloured versions of Tenniel illustrations, with a cover painted by E. Gertrude Thompson and produced by Edmund Evans, the leading Victorian colour printer. A delightful introduction for the very young to one of the most celebrated characters in children's literature. Boards and spine browned, boards scratched. Edges rubbed, corners worn. Front endpaper is MISSING also giving rise to 2" x 1" loss to the front pastedown at spine edged, cloth mull is exposed at front joint. Grubby marks to contents. Tissue guard to frontis is foxed. Hinges pulled but binding otherwise tight. A good reading copy.
The last hardcover annual to be published during the war years and widely considered to be the best Rupert annual ever. Front cover shows Rupert holding a paddle and waving while Algy looks on from a little boat. First story Rupert and the Red Egg. 118 pages. Spine missing, edges rubbed & worn. Boards a little dull. Front joint cracked. Rear joint starting to crack. Name in belongs to box. Heavy pencil erased from verso of title page and also belongs to box. Page 77 has loss to lower margin but this does not affect the text. Contents browned and a little grubby. A good reading copy.
