Very good condition in a fair dustwrapper.
Mary Norton's second book following "The Magic Bed-Knob" which was the inspiration for Disney's "Bedknobs and Broomsticks". More exciting adventures for the children who with a backwards twist of the magic bed-knob were able to fly into the Past. Blue cloth. Yellow pictorial endpapers. B/w illustrations. 119 pages. 8.5 x 5.5". Spine and corners slightly bumped and rubbed. Endpapers partly browned. Some light foxing. Inscription in ink to verso of front free-endpaper. Dustwrapper is in two pieces with only 1/3 of the spine remaining. Edges of wrapper are worn and chipped, rear panel is slighty grubby and foxed.

Joints cracked, rear joint has exposed webbing, some hinges pulled but binding still tight. Grubby fingermarks to contents. Still a decent copy of a scarce book.
