Bumping to spine. Foxing to outer page edges. Wrapper is creased with some tears and chips; loss to top and tail of spine. A few tape repairs to verso of wrapper.

Binding is a little weak; a few hinges are pulled; some chips and tears where plates are bound in. A few plates have margin tears and grubby margin marks. A reading copy.

Picky's mother took him all round the neighbourhood showing him many people and things. Would you like to know where they went and what they saw? Cloth spine, black front cover shows two birds sat on signpost. Colour illustration and verse for each letter of the alphabet. A little bumping and wear to spine, corners and cover edges. Light crease to bottom corner of front cover. Covers slightly grubby. Ink inscription and corner crease to front endpaper. One hinge cracked. Light foxing to endpapers and an odd mark to contents.
