Inscription in ink to verso of front free-endpaper, same page is also lightly creased. Some foxspots and fingermarks to contnets but generally clean.

Inscriptions in ink to front free-endpaper (one crossed out). Front free-endpaper is creased. Front joint is cracked. Pages 23-26 of John Gilpin have been torn and now repaired with tape. A couple of the b/w illustrations have been coloured in with water-colour paint. There is some foxing throughout. A few small margin tears. Not as bad as it sounds, still a reasonable copy for a book that is over 100 years old!
