Burgundy boards, gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations. Some damp marking to covers. Foxing to endpapers, outer page edges and some page margins. Wrapper is edge-creased with some tears to corners and along edges; a few small chips/pieces of loss; grubby to rear panel.

Pictorial onlay also has piece of damage, where it is wrinkled and torn, so that you can see blue cloth through, to title. All 16 colour plates are present and lovely and bright. Name in ink to half-title page. A few grubby margin marks.

Very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper.
Aged 8 Remi is handed over to Signor Vitalis for 40 francs. Signor Vitalis was the owner of a troupe of performing animals and Remi soon learned to love and care for them. Translated and adapted by Constance Herd. Pale blue boards, gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations. A sensitive adaptation of a classic story. SIGNED by the translator to the front endpaper. Spine and corners are a little bumped. Small bump to top of front board. Contents are clean. Dust wrapper is a little edge worn. Spine is browned. A few marks to panels which are grubby.

All Porky seems to do is eat and sleep until one day the secret of how to make him work like other cowboy horses id discovered. Grey pictorial boards. Colour illustrations. Large, easy to read text. 63 pages. Spine and corners a little bumped and rubbed. Board edges are browned. Small nick to centre of spine. Foxing to endpapers and to some pages otherwise contents are clean. Slight musty smell. Pictorial dustwrapper is edgeworn with small tears. Small holes to front panel, spine and fold at front. Wrapper is browned and grubby with foxing and some damp marks to verso.
