Pictorial cardwraps, charming colour illustrations. A Tuck Book Spine and corners bumped and worn. Cover edges rubbed. Paper to top of rear cover becoming unstuck and is slightly torn. Covers creased and a little grubby with large circular mark to front cover. Rear pastedown becoming unstuck at edges. Page edges wrinkled and a little ragged. Margins of pastedowns grubby. Some marks to margins. Staples are rusty.

Rear cover ever so slightly grubby. Dated ink inscription to front endpaper. A couple of hinges cracked. Light browning to endpapers. Some foxing, mainly to prelims and page edges. All plates present. Price-cut dustwrapper is edge worn and chipped with some loss to top of spine and front panel. Spine browned and slightly faded. Rear panel a little grubby. Some foxing.

Tiny dents to edges of rear cover which is also slightly warped. Inscription in ink to verso of front free-endpaper. Joint between endpaper and half-title is cracked. Heavy foxing to contents and some hinges cracked. Otherwise clean.

Spine and corners are very worn. Covers are grubby and marked. Front joint (between free-endpaper and frontis) is cracked. Heavy foxing to contents (affecting plates). Some of the guards are creased. Contents generally clean.
