Red cloth spine. Pictorial front cover showing boy and girl on playroom floor surrounded by toys. First story is "The Snow Man's Secret". Colour frontis. B/w and two-tone illustrations. Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Inscription in ink (dated Feb 1926) to verso of frontis. Some foxing and fingering and some hinges cracked else contents clean.

A lively, stirring tale of pirates on the Spanish Main, thrilling but never frightening, told by a sailor with a glorious sense of humour. Red cloth, dark blue titles and vignette to front. Colour and b/w illustrations. 48 pages. Spine and corners slightly bumped and rubbed. Light page browning to half-title and last text page. Some light fingering else contents clean. White pictorial wrapper is grubby and edge worn, chipped to spine with loss, extensive tape repairs on verso.
