Bottom of boards also rubbed. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Some light foxing mainly to endpapers. Pale browning to some pages else contents are cleam. Dustwrapper has piece missing at top. Large tear to front panel and smaller tear to rear. Edge worn with small tears and foxing to rear.

Top and bottom of spine are bumped. Cloth split to front of top of spine with small tear to top of word 'annual'. Some cloth missing to top and bottom of spine which is browned. Front joint is cracked. Browning and a little foxing to endpapers. Three tissue guards are missing from colour plates. Some page browning and foxing to contents which are generally clean.
