Corners are bumped, with some wear. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Raised, blind address to front endpaper. Foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. Two b/w illustrations have some colouring in. Wrapper is creased and grubby with some tears and chips; loss to some edges and top of spine and rear panel. Smaller chips of loss at corners.

Boards beautifully bright and clean (just a couple of small marks to top of front board and small nick to cloth spine. Contents clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is edge-worn and torn with slight loss, tape marks to rear panel, a few grubby marks.
