B/w text and full page colour illustrations. Spine and corners bumped. Front cover lightly marked, rear cover has white vertical stain. Foxing to contents. It is possible that the endpapers have been professionally replaced.

SIGNED by the author and artist, this is copy no. 132. Some staining to rear edge of spine and slight discolouration to lower edge of front cover. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing, especially to endpapers and page edges.

Diagram of door drawn in pencil to verso of frontis. Foxing throughout plus an odd mark.

A little darkening to some cover edges. Presentation plate to front endpaper. Contents clean. Price-cut dustwrapper is edge worn with a few chips and tears. Larger tear down rear edge of spine into rear panel. Very little loss. Wrapper is heavily foxed on both sides.
