Second Edition. Relative to his military operations in Kaffraria, until the termination of the Kafir War, and to his measures for the future maintenance of peace on that frontier, and the protection and welfare of the people of South Africa. Blue leather binding with raised bands to the spine, red title box to spine, with gilt title. Large white marks - especially to front cover and spine. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Front joint is partially coming away at glue join to title page. Some foxing and page browning.
