A Panorama Picture Book of Fairy Stories. Nister book 633. Six stunning three-dimensional stand-up scenes. Large oblong format. Green cloth spine, colour pictorial paper boards. Front cover shows the Babes in the Wood riding on a leaf in the air harnessed to a pair of robins. Green/white floral endpapers. Spine has been rebacked with red cloth. Corners and cover edges are worn. There is some scuffing to the covers. Front free-endpaper is missing. Inscription in ink to top margin of title-page. One page has a large closed tear which has been neatly repaired. From the pop-up scenes there are some flowers missing at the top of the fairy's oar (in the swan picture) and the giant is missing from behind Jack (in the Jack and the Giant picture) otherwise the pop-ups are complete, bright and in excellent working order. The text pages are well fingered and thus a little grubby. A decent copy of a scarce pop-up book.
Green cloth spine. Pictorial front board showing girl dressed in clown suit. "A Novel Picture book For Children". Four pop-up colour pictures. B/w text illustrations. Spine worn at top and tail. Corners worn and cover edges rubbed. Joints and hinges cracked, front free-endpaper missing. A few loose pieces to first pop-up and skipping rope is twisted (but still intact), other 3 pop-ups in excellent working order. Some tears to inner margins and some loose pages caused by the cracked hinges. Some light page browning and fingering. Still a nice copy of a very scarce Nister pop-up.

Pictorial paper front board shows older child reading a book to young child sat on her lap and two young girls at her feet with cats around. 6 Chromolithographs and many b/w illustrations. Some surface paper loss to lower front corner of covers, edges rubbed, corners worn. Boards scuffed and marked. Front endpaper missing. Joints pulled. Small closed tear and slight loss to lower corner of half-title page. Page-edge browning. A few marks to contents but generally a nice copy with all plates present.

'Untearable'. Green cloth spine, pictorial front board. 16 full-page colour illustrations plus sepia line drawings. Floral decorated endpapers. All edges dyed pink. Short animal tales told in verse. Spine slightly bumped, corners just a little worn. A tiny dent to lower edge of front cover. Endpapers are lightly browned with a couple of small crayon marks to front free-endpaper, also light vertical crease to edge of front free-endpaper which has a tiny tear at base. Staples are rusty. Contained in original paper dustwrapper (b/w illustration to front) which has a couple of small closed edge tears. Dustwrapper has done its job and kept the covers beautifully bright and clean!
No. 3812. Blue cloth spine. Pictorial front board showing mother on a bench with little boy and girl reading Tiny Tot's First Book. Contains ABC, Alphabet in writing letters, counting, telling the time, rhymes, short stories etc. B/w text illustrations and a few full-page colour illustrations. Slight wear to top and tail of spine, corners slightly bumped. Inscription in ink to front pastedown. Page edge browning else contents clean. Small tear to lower edge of rear free-endpaper.
Nister No. 4320. Blue cloth spine, pictorial paper boards show three children and a dog with a finished snowman holding an umbrella. Verses by L.L. Weedon. Transforming pictures operated by two revolving discs. B/w text illustrations. REDUCED from Â£280. Corners lightly worn, rear cover scratched and scuffed. Joints and hinges strengthened with clear tape. Prize plate to front pastedown. First hinge pulled. All five transforming scenes have a certain extent of repair - at least one side of the picture is very cleverly matched to make a whole border once more (not affecting the moving picture). Some tape repair to moveables. Overall a presentable copy of an unusual item.
Cloth spine, cream boards. Pictorial front board with blue title. Blue floral decorated endpapers. Mounted colour frontis (not by Wain). Numerous b/w and two-tone illustrations of cats throughout (by Wain). Nister No. 742. Spine bumped and rubbed with slight fraying at base. Cover edges/corners are worn with slight loss of surface paper. Some scuffing to covers. A couple of page gatherings are detached at lower staples and being held in at top staple. Colouring to some b/w illustrations. One page has pencil scribbles partially erased. A couple of small page edge tears. Name in ink to top margin of title-page. Grubby fingermarks throughout. Still a decent copy of a scarce book.

Green cloth spine, pictorial paper boards with colour illustration of leopard on a tree branch with five monkeys. 6 full page colour three dimensional scenes. Edges rubbed, corners worn. Top corner of spine bumped. Endpapers lightly browned. Hinges pulled. One double page spread with text on one side and three dimensional scene on facing page is detached. Small closed tear with no loss to one lower page margin. A very nice copy. All panoramas in excellent condition. Reduced from Â£420.
Brown cloth spine. Pictorial front board shows Town Crier surrounded by children. Full page colour illustrations and b/w illustrations throughout. First story 'When daddy's ship came home' by L.L.Weedon. Spine and corners are bumped and worn. Some browning and fade marks to top and tail of spine. Foxing internally and to outer page edges. Margin tears to a few pages. A little damp staining to rear endpaper.
A reproduction from an Antique Book by Ernest Nister. Original published in 1892. Pictures changed by moving the tab. Glazed boards. ISBN: 0001956477. A few marks to covers. All revolving pictures appear to be in very good working order.
