Blue cloth, gilt titles, pictorial onlay to front cover shows little girl holding two young dogs. First story is "A Hole in Fairyland". 179 pages. Full-page colour and b/w text illustrations. Spine and corners bumped and slightly rubbed. Some light wrinkles in cloth covers. Name and address in ink to front pastedown, date in crayon to endpaper. Front joint is just starting to crack. Some light fingering and page browning to margins else contents clean.

Spine and corners bumped and worn. Covers are slightly grubby with light damp stains at edges of rear cover. Messy writing/crayon marks to front endpapers. There is a crease to the top corner of the half title-page. Foxing and fingering but contents are generally clean. A couple of hinges are cracked.

A Panorama Picture Book of Fairy Stories. Nister book 633. Six stunning three-dimensional stand-up scenes. Large oblong format. Green cloth spine, colour pictorial paper boards. Front cover shows the Babes in the Wood riding on a leaf in the air harnessed to a pair of robins. Green/white floral endpapers. Spine has been rebacked with red cloth. Corners and cover edges are worn. There is some scuffing to the covers. Front free-endpaper is missing. Inscription in ink to top margin of title-page. One page has a large closed tear which has been neatly repaired. From the pop-up scenes there are some flowers missing at the top of the fairy's oar (in the swan picture) and the giant is missing from behind Jack (in the Jack and the Giant picture) otherwise the pop-ups are complete, bright and in excellent working order. The text pages are well fingered and thus a little grubby. A decent copy of a scarce pop-up book.

Corners worn and cover edges rubbed. Joints and hinges cracked, front free-endpaper missing. A few loose pieces to first pop-up and skipping rope is twisted (but still intact), other 3 pop-ups in excellent working order. Some tears to inner margins and some loose pages caused by the cracked hinges. Some light page browning and fingering. Still a nice copy of a very scarce Nister pop-up.

Pictorial paper front board shows older child reading a book to young child sat on her lap and two young girls at her feet with cats around. 6 Chromolithographs and many b/w illustrations. Some surface paper loss to lower front corner of covers, edges rubbed, corners worn. Boards scuffed and marked. Front endpaper missing. Joints pulled. Small closed tear and slight loss to lower corner of half-title page. Page-edge browning. A few marks to contents but generally a nice copy with all plates present.

'Untearable'. Green cloth spine, pictorial front board. 16 full-page colour illustrations plus sepia line drawings. Floral decorated endpapers. All edges dyed pink. Short animal tales told in verse. Spine slightly bumped, corners just a little worn. A tiny dent to lower edge of front cover. Endpapers are lightly browned with a couple of small crayon marks to front free-endpaper, also light vertical crease to edge of front free-endpaper which has a tiny tear at base. Staples are rusty. Contained in original paper dustwrapper (b/w illustration to front) which has a couple of small closed edge tears. Dustwrapper has done its job and kept the covers beautifully bright and clean!

Transforming pictures operated by two revolving discs. B/w text illustrations. REDUCED from £280. Corners lightly worn, rear cover scratched and scuffed. Joints and hinges strengthened with clear tape. Prize plate to front pastedown. First hinge pulled. All five transforming scenes have a certain extent of repair - at least one side of the picture is very cleverly matched to make a whole border once more (not affecting the moving picture). Some tape repair to moveables. Overall a presentable copy of an unusual item.
