Foxing to cover edges. Spine cocked. Foxing to endpapers. Some light fingering to page margins. Price-cut wrapper is a little browned to spine and a little edge rubbed.

Jimmy Linnet is a most charming character, and always seems to turn up at the right time to help his many woodland friends when they are in trouble. White pictorial boards. Colour & b/w illustrations. 48 pages. A few brown marks to rear board (rust?). Contents beautifully bright and clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is grubby and is marked to rear panel (rust spots?).

Beatrix Potter wrote this tale in 1907, basing it on a true story. She never did illustrate it and the manuscript did not come to light until after her death, when a small edition was published. Now re-issued with beautiful colour illustrations by the noted artist Marie Angel whose work has been favourably compared to Potter. White pictorial boards. 47pp. 6.5 x 5". A charming little book. ISBN: 0723213364. Small indentation to lower edge of front cover. Endpapers are partly browned. Dustwrapper is lightly browned with a couple of small foxspots.

Gilt is still bright. Text block browned. A few scattered foxspots to contents and a few grubby marks e.g. page 15 (see photo). Contents generally very nice. Pictorial dustwrapper is edge-rubbed, lightly faded to spine, lightly scuffed, front flap has had tape on it at some point which has stained the flap vertically with some loss of surface paper.
