Red cloth spine, pictorial front board shows children carol singing. Tipped-in colour plates plus b/w illustrations throughout. Includes 3 colour plates by Wain plus some b/w illustrations. Spine bumped. Corners and board edges worn. Small pieces of paper missing from both front and rear board. Front board lightly scratched. Tiny hole near to centre of front endpaper. A little foxing and one or two marks otherwise contents generally clean.

Green cloth spine. Grey decorated front board with pictorial onlay which shows portrait of a ginger cat with green background. Rear cover is blank. 5 tipped-in colour plates (one duplicating the onlay to front cover) plus b/w text illustrations throughout. Spine and corners bumped and slightly rubbed. Rear cover slightly browned. Endpapers lightly browned and light page edge browning throughout.

Green cloth with silver title block to spine and blue/green decorations. 'T' shaped pictorial onlay to front cover, shjowing a boy and a girl walking in the snow, confronted by a big bird! First story is 'When Hawkins Sailed the Sea'. Includes roughly 6 Louis Wain illustrations. Spine and corners are bumped and worn, with some fraying to cloth. Chipping and a few tears to pictorial onlay with a couple of pieces of loss. New endpapers. Foxing to outer page edges.

Very good condition.
Red cloth spine with black title, pictorial front board shows a girl at the seaside listening to a shell. Green pictorial endpapers. 24 colour plates mounted on brown paper (2 cat plates by Wain and 5 plates by Aris), numerous b/w text illustrations throughout (including many non-cat illus by Wain). 288 pages. Spine and corners bumped, corners worn, edges rubbed. A couple of scratch marks to front cover and covers slightly grubby with foxing on rear cover. Inscription in ink to verso of front endpaper. One colour plate (of a teddy) is lightly creased and one Wain plate has a light corner crease. Contents are clean.

Front endpaper torn at spine edge & repaired with clear tape. Inscription in ink to verso of front endpaper. A few foxspots. One plate creased else plates in excellent condition.
