Some foxing mainly to page edges otherwise contents very good. Colour illustrations are bright.

Spine and corners bumped, with some wear to the cloth. Some marks to boards. Cracking ans splitting to front joint. Endpapers browned. Bookplate pasted to half-title page. All colour plates present: last plate is corner creased but all others are in fine condition. A few scattered foxspots. Contents generally clean and bright, but pages 248-9 are browned.
