Heavy foxing to contents and a musty (antiquarian) smell to contents. All plates are present. Fold-out map of Monmouthshire to volume 1 has been neatly repaired on verso with clear tape. Plan of Monmouth in volume 2 (pg292) has been neatly/professionally repaired and plan of Chepstow in volume 2 (pg357) has a small hole to it (not affecting any text or the illustration).
