Both volumes expertly repaired, volume I has contemporary notes bound in at front. Some paper repair also. Address stamp to volume I title page (small). Foxing and dampstaining affecting plates as well as text mainly to volume II. Marbled paper boards of volume I are scuffed. Bindings of both volumes are nice and tight.

Together with a blue cloth bound commentary & translation with gilt title to spine and vignette to front. Commentary by De Hamel, translation by Barber. Facsimile volume is a tiny bit rubbed at front edge of spine and has a tiny scratch mark to front cover. Blue solander slipcase is bumped at corners with a couple of tiny dents at edges.
