Pictorial boards, brown cloth spine. 28 pages. Pencil marks to front cover. Wear to corners. Name to front pastedown. Some light foxing. Contents are still very good.

Pictorial front cover shows three children, rocking horse and dog, black titles. Colour plates, plus colour, tint and b/w illustrations. 200 pages. First story - Tommy's Topper by Madeline Barnes. Spine bumped, worn and grubby with a vertical crease from top to bottom. Corners and cover edges worn. Covers grubby. Rear joint and a couple of hinges cracked. Ink inscription in To box on front endpaper and 1930 written to verso of frontis. A few marks to contents but most pages are clean. A little foxing.

Orange cloth spine, front cover shows girl & boy reading a book on floor. Colour plates. Two-tone & b/w illustrations. Some bumping and wear to spine, corners and cover edges. Covers slightly grubby. Front joint partially cracked, one hinge cracked. Belongs to box on front endpaper completed in pen. Light foxing, fingermarks and a few marks to contents but many ages are clean. All plates present.

Spine and corners bumped and worn. Browning to edge of spine. Covers a bit grubby. Front joint badly cracked showing webbing. Rear joint and a couple of hinges cracked. Name in ink to creased front endpaper. Endpapers are marked with some light browning. A few marks to contents. Poor condition front panel and spine of dustwrapper present but have been stuck to stiff card.

Small, light stain to top edges of pages else contents lovely and clean. A super copy of a very scarce rag book. This copy would make a wonderful gift.

All plates present. Price-cut dustwrapper is edge worn and chipped with some loss to top of spine and front panel. Spine browned and slightly faded. Rear panel a little grubby. Some foxing.
