Large format. Red cloth with super gilt titles and vignettes of animals to front cover and spine. Green pictorial endpapers. 28 colour plates plus numerous b/w text illustrations. 293 pages. Spine bumped and faded with a little wear, spine feels stiff so possibly some glue applied to verso. Corners worn, lower front corner bumped. 1.5" abrasion to rear cover with slight loss of cloth. A few other small marks to covers. Joints cracked, showing webbing. Name in ink to half-title page. Light foxing to endpapers, prelims and a few fox spots throughout. A few marks to contents but generally clean. All plates present.

A fantastic collection of nursery rhymes! Dark red boards with gilt decorations and titles. Gilt page edges. Colour frontis piece. Many two tone colour plates. B/w text illustrations throughout. 320 pages. 10 x 7.5". Spine bumped and worn with small splits to top and bottom edges, also a little faded and gilt dulled. Corners worn, especially bottom corners. Darkening to covers and rear cover is marked, front less so. Front joint just starting to crack, a few hinges cracked. Light red stain to edge of prelims, grubby mark to margin of frontis Marks and fingermarks to contents and some light foxing but many pages are clean.

Blue cloth with beautiful gilt illustration to front cover and highly decorated spine. 12 superb colour plates plus 16 black-and-red plates and numerous b/w text illustrations. Large format. All edges gilt. Spine bumped and cloth faded but gilt remains fairly bright. Corners are bumped and rubbed. Couple of little bumps to board edges. Some marks to covers. Both joints are cracked showing webbing beneath but binding remains firm. Dated inscription in ink to half-title page. Foxing to endpapers and some pages otherwise contents are clean. Plates are all present and in very good condition.

Almost very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper.
Large format. Cream cloth spine. Beige boards with large pictorial onlay to front. 8 attractive colour plates. B/w text illustrations. A little bumping to spine and corners. A few small marks to covers. Light lines to onlay (only visible at certain angles). Front cover ever so slightly bowed. Pencil inscription to front endpaper, small bookseller's ink stamp to front pastedown. Half-title page and last text page very browned. Foxing, mainly to endpapers and page edges. Brown spots affect lower margins on a few pages including one plate. Dustwrapper has loss, mainly from top of spine and lower corner of front panel. Also has a few small tears and is grubby.

Writing to top of title page - possibly an inscription - some of the writing is faded. Several hinges are cracked. Heavy foxing to first couple and last couple of pages. Foxing to some other pages but many pages are clean.

Lindsay's appointment as a prefect at River Place school astonishes the sixth form, because Lindsay is apparently as casual as she is popular. But the Head knows of what good stuff she is made. Green cloth with brown titles to spine and front. 304 pages, top edge green. 4 b/w plates. Spine bumped and faded, Wear to corners. Brown marks and foxing to spine and cover edges. Ink name and address to front pastedown, Book 14 written to front endpaper. Some light browning and foxing. Dustwrapper has numerous tears, some large, but not a great deal of loss. Creased, edge worn and grubby with foxing.
