Large format. Cream cloth spine. Pictorial front board shwoing girl and boy running after a small dog with a doll in its mouth. 6 colour plates, b/w text illustrations. An anthology of stories and verse, first story is "Betty". Spine and corners bumped and worn. Cover edges worn with some small indentations. Damp stain to lower edge of rear cover and spine edge browned. Small brown stain to edge of front cover and "Miss Ruck" and "5" written in red biro to top of front cover. Name and address in ink to front pastedown, name and date in ink to free-endpaper. Endpapers browned. Some light foxing and grubby fingermarks to contents (including a few plate margins but pictures unaffected).
"Angela Brazil's School Stories". Beige cloth, dark titles. 4 b/w plates. 256 pages. Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Light damp staining to corners. Small name in ink to front free-endpaper. Hinges cracked. A few light foxspots else contents clean.
