Binding is a little weak; a few hinges are pulled; some chips and tears where plates are bound in. A few plates have margin tears and grubby margin marks. A reading copy.

Light crease to bottom corner of front cover. Covers slightly grubby. Ink inscription and corner crease to front endpaper. One hinge cracked. Light foxing to endpapers and an odd mark to contents.
