Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
Green cloth, gilt titles. B/w photos. New Naturalist Monograph no. 5. A few pale marks to boards, gilt title is dull. Front pastedown has evidence of a damp stain (spillage?). Text block browned. Contents crinkled as if from damp but no staining except the front pastedown. Pictorial dustwrapper is strengthened to verso with brown paper at folds, a few grubby marks especially to rear panel, spine is browned and repaired to top where a small piece of loss has occurred.

Rear hinge split from staple binding. Foxing to text pages and some minor pencil annotations, woodcut pages generally clean if slightly browned.
