Good condition.
Blue decorated cloth. 6 tipped-in colour plates. B/w text illustrations throughout. Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Spine slightly browned. Ex-Libris plate to front free-endpaper. Joint at front free-endpaper and half title-page is cracked showing webbing. Half title-page is MISSING. Hinges are cracked and pulled, some showing stitching at spine. This is causing the contents to be a bit loose in the binding but the contents are still tight. There is some colouring to the b/w illustrations and some grubby fingermarks to page margins. Also, some foxing.

A Medley of Prose & Verse for Boys and Girls. Cream and orange decorated cloth covers and endpapers. Colour plates mounted on grey card and b/w text illustrations. Covers are darkened/browned - so that they look grubby. Bumping to corners. Joints are cracked causing first plate to be detached. Ink stamp to front endpaper. Foxing, browning and grubby margin marks.

9.75 x 7.25 ins. Illustrated endpapers. Bold full page colour illustrations. The text is specially designed for children, and each section is accompanied by a rhyme. The ten saints lived from the 3rd to the 13th Centuries. Wear to corners and spine. Bookplate and some tape marks to front pastedown. Other tape marks to rear pastedown/endpaper. Foxing to outer page edges. Wrapper is price-cut with tears and chips; tape repairs to top edge of front panel and to spine; some loss.

A period novelette featuring the Gills of Twickenham and misunderstandings at a ball, based on the operetta by Eleanor and Herbert Farjeon. Deep pink cloth covers with silver titles to spine and silver vignette. B/w chapter headers. 163 pages. Minimal bumping to spine and corners. Price-cut wrapper is slightly worn at spine and corners and a tiny bit grubby to rear panel.
