Small square patch of surface paper loss to top of rear cover. Inscription in blue pencil to verso of front endpaper. Front joint starting to crack. Very few foxspots, contents generally clean and bright.

First story is 'Lost, Stolen or Strayed' by Hugh Banstead. Some bumping to spine. Wear to cover edges. Browned rectangle marks to first few pages, including front pastedown and front endpaper - possibly a bookplate has been removed. Names in pencil in belongs to box. Damp marks to rear pastedown and endpaper. Book has been a little repaired. Light surface paper loss to last page, which is affecting text.

A couple of plates have edge-tears to them (Some repaired).

Spine and corners bumped, corners worn, edges rubbed. A couple of scratch marks to front cover and covers slightly grubby with foxing on rear cover. Inscription in ink to verso of front endpaper. One colour plate (of a teddy) is lightly creased and one Wain plate has a light corner crease. Contents are clean.
