Almost very good condition.
Full leather binding with gilt titles and pictorial onlay to front cover. Ribbon ties weaved into binding of covers. 50 colour plates; tipped-in. Heavy, hand-made paper. Text is in Dutch. A lovely edition! Limited edition to 325 copies. 8" split to top of spine next to front cover. 3-4" split to base of spine on rear side of covers. Bumping and wear to corners and spine. A little chipping along cover edges. Original ribbon ties are still present on binding - one to bottom of front cover has partly torn off, so can not be tied to ribbon on rear cover; original piece of torn of ribbon still present inside, but detached. A few marks to covers. Looks like repair work has been professionally done at some point; new overlap edges have been very neatly added, so protecting more original corners. The book also appears to have new endpapers. Some foxing to outer page edges and a few to some pages internally. Some creasing to uncut page edges. All plates are present and in excellent condition!
