Small and neat inscription in ink to front pastedown. Tear to inner margin of front free-endpaper. Light foxing to endpapers. Some page margins are grubby, slight surface paper damage to lower margin of "What the Bunnies Said". Water colour stencils painted and some pencil doodles to blank pages of some pages.

ISBN: 1854790412. Top edge of text block lightly browned with minor foxing. Else a nice, clean copy. Pictorial dustwrapper is also nice and clean.

Spine and corners bumped and worn. Rear cover is grubby and faded at edges. Endpapers lightly browned. Heavy foxing to textblock, some light foxing to contents. Some grubby fingermarks to page margins. Some of the b/w illustrations have been coloured in. Inscription in ink to belongs to box. Some hinges cracked causing contents to be a little loose.
Blue cloth, gilt titles and vignette. 12 colour plates plus b/w illustrations. 125 pages. Top edge gilt. Boards a little marked but gilt to front still bright. Cloth backstrip has been re-glued directly to spine, loss to top & tail, touched up with blue ink to sides. Rear hinge pulled. A few marks to contents. A few scattered foxspots. One plate has a corner crease.

Pen inscription to verso of front endpaper and school plate to front pastedown. 4" tear to page 115/6 and tear to top edge of 117/8, both repaired with clear tape which is now yellowed. Endpapers browned. Some foxing to text block and page edges.

Covers a little grubby. Name and price in pencil to top margin on inside of front cover. Grubby marks to margins. Illustrations still bright.

Cloth on edges is fraying in a couple of places. Front board browned and a bit grubby. Surface paper damage to bottom of rear board which has a couple of marks and is grubby. Browning and a few margin marks to contents
