These volumes are copy no. 20. Spines are faded; now look green. Some bumping and wear to cover edges and corners. A little brown spotting to covers. Bookplates to front pastedowns. Names in ink to front endpapers. Page browning; some foxing. The books appear to have been restitched at one time - bindings are nice and tight.

Chipping and fraying to cloth, especially to bottom edge of front cover. Some foxing and page browning, but contents are generally very good. Wrapper is very browned and marked; some damp stains, chipping, with a little loss and tears/creasing.

Few sports offer so many opportunities for humour as hunting. Cream pictorial boards. 87 pages. B/w illustrations. Introduction by Paget. Spine very slightly bumped, some very slight darkening to cover edges. Name plate to front endpaper. Endpapers browned and some light foxing at page edges. A few margin marks. Top of a couple of pages roughly opened resulting in a small closed tear and small piece missing from top of one page. Dustwrapper is very grubby with a few small stains and is price-cut.

A couple of marks to endpapers and a few foxspots to outer page edges. Some tissue-guards have become creased. Illustrations are fine - beautifully bright! Contained in a very good slip case, which is foxed and spotted, with wear.
