Spine and corners bumped. Covers a slightly grubby and stained. Some pale browning and foxing else contents clean. Original yellow silk page marker still present but a little frayed at end.

Red cloth, gilt titles. 24 pages of illustrations (2 to a page). Spine and corners are worn and slightly damaged with some darkening to cover edges. Front and rear joints are cracked and have possibly been repaired. Foxing and finger throughout and a couple of small marginal closed tears.

Names written in ink and coloured pencil to front cover. Paper covering from spine has rubbed off. Covers are grubby. Most pages partially coloured, some better than others! Drawings to some blank pages. Some coloured pencil marks to margins and a little writing. Overall a nice copy of a scarce, fragile item.

Contained in original slipcase which is well worn but has done it's job and kept the book/dustwrapper nice.
