Pictorial card wraps. Outlines from various Greenaway works for Boys and Girls to paint. 9.5 x 7". Front cover shows two girls with doll and paint brush. Lower half of front cover detached. Names written in ink and coloured pencil to front cover. Paper covering from spine has rubbed off. Covers are grubby. Most pages partially coloured, some better than others! Drawings to some blank pages. Some coloured pencil marks to margins and a little writing. Overall a nice copy of a scarce, fragile item.

The Queen of the title is Polly, nine years old, inclined to plumpness and good humour and had never been to sea, but a very imaginative character... Beautifully illustrated with delicately coloured paintings. Dark green cloth. 60 pages. 10.5 x 8.5". ISBN: 0864410182. Spine bumped. Rear cover lightly marked. Outer page margins very lightly yellowed else contents fine. Dustwrapper very slightly grubby. A nice copy.
